Orpheus Entry Period Extended

We've received a lot of fantastic entries for the Orpheus Fiction Contest, and have decided to extend the entry period through the end of March to allow even more people to enter. Keep spreading the word and getting those entries in!

Here's the revised contest schedule:

Open for Entries: February 28-March 8, 2012 February 28-March 31, 2012
First Round Voting: March 12-19, 2012 April 2-9, 2012
Second Round Judging: March 22-29, 2012 April 13-20, 2012
Final Round Judging: April 2-10, 2012 April 24-31, 2012
Winners announced: April 16, 2012 May 3, 2012

What does this mean for you? Well, now you have more time to enter! Get that manuscript ready, spit-shine that query, and come on down! Here's a quick refresher on how to enter:

Send your query, including brief summary, title, genre, word count, and your pen name (if applicable) with the title line ORPHEUS FIRST ROUND to orpheus.fictioncontest @ gmail . com (spaces removed). You'll receive an automatic response to let you know your entry arrived safely!
